It is always recommended when you purchase a home that an Inspection Clause be inserted which allows an Inspection of the property and a report given to you that shows if there are any deficiencies in the subject property. Like in any profession, not all Inspectors are the same. It's imperative that you work with a Realtor who can provide you with a top notch Inspector when purchasing a home. In addition should something come up in the Inspection, it is your Realtor's job to potentially re-open negotiations on your behalf to help remedy any issue(s) that may be found. In addition you may want to hire a Home Inspector to do a Pre-Listing Inspection or Builder Walkthrough of a new home. As your Realtor I will be there to explain the benefits of each so that we can determine if they will add value to you. I have one Home Inspector that does the majority of my clients work in addition to 2 more that I can use if need be. All of which can provide you with the service that you both need and deserve. |
